Previous Campaigns and Community Accomplishments
BARIATRIC ROOM
With a generous donation of $100,000 from a local family, we were able to complete the creation of a bariatric room, which will accommodate patients who would normally have to be sent to a hospital in the city. The equipment is capable of supporting 450+ lbs of weight.
PORTABLE DIGITAL IMAGING
In 2022, our campaign focused on acquiring portable Digital Imaging equipment. A generous, community-minded couple contributed the entire amount. We're thrilled to share that the equipment is now fully operational and making a meaningful impact!
Cardiac Care
From 2019-2021, $100,000 was raised to upgrade cardiac care. We purchased state-of-the-art monitoring equipment that greatly improves treatment in Sundre, which sees 3x higher than the provincial average incidence of cardiac issues.
eSIM Lab
SHF is grateful for support from AHS for the development of an eSIM lab, which provides real-life training for students and staff. This facility allows for continual community-based learning.
