The Sundre Hospital Futures Committee is proud to invest directly in the next generation of rural health care providers.
Through the Sundre Health Professional Attraction & Retention Committee (SHPARC), we offer two annual $1,000 scholarships to local students pursuing a career in health care. We know that a stronger health workforce starts with supporting the students who call our community home.

Joanne Overguard Memorial Schlarship
Health Career Scholarship
Designed to help financially support a student from the Sundre area who is pursuing an eligible health care career applicable to a rural setting, including Nursing, X-ray/Lab Technician, Physiotherapist, Occupational and Recreational Therapists, Pharmacy, Mental Health Therapist, and Health Information Management. One $1,000 award will be presented each calendar year at the Sundre Hospital Future's Committee Gala.
